Two Winners in One Day at Aqueduct

On February, 17 two horses born at Edition Farm were winners at Aqueduct racetrack. The first was Downtown Mischief (Into Mischief x Downtown Mama, by Speightstown) in the 7th race who was bred and is now raced by Lady Sheila Stable, LLC.

The second winner of the day was Flattering Gal (Flatter x Sheriffa, by by Posse) in the 8th race, who was bred by Linda Rice and is now owned by Noda Brothers, LLC and Make em All Stables.

Shinfull Wins the 6th Race at Aqueduct on Jan. 13

In the 6th race at Aqueduct on Friday, January 13, Shinfull (A Shin Forward x Awesome Bull, by Holy Bull) won her first race with new trainer David Donk upon Rick Schosberg’s retirement. This is an exciting victory for Vivien Malloy, who bred and owns Shinfull as well as her sire, A Shin Forward, and the dam, Awesome Bull.

“She was gutsy and awesome as usual - she ran dynamite,” says breeder Vivien Malloy, who both bred and owns her. “This was a perfect way for us to start a new and successful relationship under David’s care and training."

Shinfull Wins the 6th Race at Aqueduct

On December, 16, 2022 Shinfull, by A Shin Forward out of Awesome Bull, breaks her maiden in a MSW race at Aqueduct. Shinfull is owned and bred by Edition Farm and is the fourth generation of the Edition Farm matriarch Mine Tonight.  She is also by Edition Farm bred and owned, G1 winner, A Shin Forward who stands at stud in NY.

First NY Foal for A Shin Forward

A Shin Forward was represented by his first American-born foal on March 5th, when Miney’s Awesome (Awesome Again – Mine Tonight by Upper Nile) produced a filly by the son of Forest Wildcat. Miney’s Awesome is the dam of 6 winners from 7 to race, and is a ½-sister to three stakes horses. The filly was bred by Vivien Malloy’s Edition Farm.

The Eagle Has Landed!

After much anticipation, A Shin Forward (Forest Wildcat x Wake Up Kiss by Cure the Blues) has returned to the United States from Japan.  The NY bred, Japanese turf champion returns to NY where he will stand the 2018 season at Rockridge Stud, as the property of Edition Farm. 

Earning his fame as the 27th winner of the Japan Autumn International Mile Championship [G1] and the Hanky Hai [G3] in 2010, A Shin Forward’s race record includes 3 stakes wins, and 5 stakes placings, with over $3.4 million dollars in total earnings over five years racing. As the second leading NY bred earner in history (Funny Cide being the first), we are excited to continue his career in the U.S. as  a New York based stallion.
