Kisstheothercheek and her owner, Kelly Hart participated in the 2021 TIP performance awards, and ended up Grand Champion for their Online horse show division. This requires participating in all around events (halter, showmanship, jumping, english and western) throughout the year.
“My girl has proved to be a true all around horse. We won a beautiful cooler, leather halter, jacket and a champion ribbon,” said Kelly.
They also competed the previous October in the TIP championships where she was 10th overall with wonderful placings in their division. “I cannot tell you how much I love and adore this horse. You have bred a great one!”

Tanmawwy (Candy Ride --Wasseema, by Danzig), owned by Tanmawwy Partners, gave birth to the first NY-bred foal of the year, a filly by Central Banker, at Vivien Malloy's Edition Farm in Hyde Park, N.Y., on New Year's Day.
Bred by Shadwell Farm, the unraced 6-year-old mare Tanmawwy was purchased at the 2020 Keenland November Sale carrying her first foal, a filly by the young Shadwell stallion Mohaymen. Her dam Waseema was a multiple stakes winner and graded stakes-placed in Europe, who also produced stakes-placed Ekhtibaar (Bernardini).
"She truly is a New Year's Day filly! Tanmawwy delivered the beautiful, flashy bay filly at 5:00 a.m." Teri Brown, manager at Edition Farm, commented. "This foal is the first of 30 to be born at the farm this year."

On June 6th, 2021, the Lewisboro Land Trust hosted a book signing for Vivien G. Malloy’s memoir “My Life as a Long Shot: From Cuba to Rye” at Birdstone Farm in Cross River, NY. Vivien greeted guests and read excerpts from her book.
Vivien Goodman Malloy's life as a "long shot" began years before her life as a horsewoman and horse breeder-in fact, her long-shot die was cast before she was born. It begins in 1909, in Spain, with the surprise birth of her mother, an unexpected and premature twin of a baby brother who doesn't live. Maria Consuelo Candida Francisca Catarina de Siena Robato y Mañach--- "Nena"-does. She grows up in Cuba, falls in love, and marries Rafaele "Lello" Matacena, learning she is pregnant while he is back in Naples tending to his disapproving Italian family. Lello never returns. Nena gives birth to Vivien and three years later marries Andrew Goodman, heir to the Bergdorf Goodman department store. Little Vivien Matacena becomes Vivien Goodman, trading her abuelita's home in Havana for a penthouse above the family store in Manhattan. A Cinderella story of sorts, but life is more complicated, and this is just the start of twists and turns, triumphs and tragedies that make up Vivien Goodman Malloy's My Life as a Long Shot: From Cuba to Rye.
A portion of book sales will be donated to the Retired Racehorse Project.

The cancelled Saratoga sale is the most disheartening thing of all because it’s always like a big party. Everyone you talk to throughout the year by phone, you finally get to see in person. And now that’s not even possible.
